The Trocadero neighbourhood is one of, if not the most, upscale residential neighbourhoods in Paris. In the heart of the 16th arrondissement, it’s quieter than the touristy heart of the city but just close enough to get you there in a matter of minutes. This affluent quarter of the city is nice and peaceful, yet there’s a buzzing energy to it as the residents go about their daily business. Pull out your Sunday-best and spend the morning rubbing shoulders with the local intelligentsia in all the nearby cafes and bars. The breathtakingly beautiful Jardins du Trocadero Gardens have a view of the Eiffel Tower that’s second to none. Trocadero Square is another local favourite, much loved for its breakfast cafes and bakeries.
