    Marrika is an excellent host with a friendly and welcoming manner. Her property provides a unique experience ,like travelling back in time, and turned a good trip into a great trip. The village is quiet and nothing opens until 5pm

Manager ski resport French Alps,responsible for 200 corporate guests each week;champagne receptions,catering for groups up to 36,organised heli-ski drops,ski lessons,ski-guiding,children's snowshoeing adventures in forest tipi with stories,climbing,sailing.I returned to the UK and started a gardening business which grew to having 50 customers,but went back to France.And in 2014 I was responsible for a 5 bedroom manor house & gites near Agen; host,cook,gardener,pool attendant/management..... and then had a gite in Herault, but finally bought here in the Aveyron and now have The Tavern chambres et table d'hotes and resto.

At 800m altitude,The Tavern has been transformed into Chambres et Table d'Hotes-Unique here! And I have a GR Licence III.There are 4 bedrooms and the cellar Tavern seating 12 people at a 3 metre table plus side bars. The original bar still in place. Guests eat dinner in the original restaurant/livingroom,breakfast in the Epicerie,now the dining-room or the original Bar below in the double-vaulted cellar now resto. Both the kitchen & Living-room look out onto countryside. 12km from the A75 & Millau viaduct, 19km from Millau, 45km from Rodez airport

Dating from the 6th century with monks buried in the crypt and grounds of St Michel's Roman church Circa 11th & 12th,the houses on the ramparts are 15-17th century,and the Chateau de Levezou 750-1100. The families go back generations,still farming;Aubrac cows.Brebis sheep-milk to make Roquefort cheese. The village is in a rural & peaceful setting,where the air is unpolluted and you are surrounded by nature.Excellent for lovers of the countryside.The views of the Millau viaduct are stunning!Set next to the Col de Vernhette 1029m and Pulzinieres 1047m. The region is incredible for bikes,running,walking,the Larzac plateau,valleys,rivers,Tarn & Muse gorges plus lakes and forests.There is also a huge field at 900m for motor paragliding
