Nestled between the grand Arc de Triomphe and Place de la Concorde, the tree-lined Champs-Elysées (literally meaning ‘Elysian fields’) is one of Paris’s most legendary boulevards. One of the most central neighborhoods, it’s easy to reach other neighborhoods by bus or metro, although many of the city’s attractions are within walking distance. It’s a great area to stay if you plan to shop and check out historical sights.
