In an authentic old house right on the banks of a small river, we, Greet and Alain Deloore, welcome you to our guest rooms in our simply renovated yet very comfortable house. We have 3 different rooms of which 1 is easily accessible by wheelchair. We love nature and especially simple, interesting and no-nonsense guests. Here you still see fauna and flora, including weeds and many insects. Everyone finds peace, quiet, darkness, nature and also the Champagne vineyards. This is the perfect spot for a longer stay, not so for passing by on your way to another destination. So we only accept bookings of 2 or more nights.
Alain welcomes you in his home covered with contemporary art where there is silence, quietness and the simple life. He likes no-nonsense and open-minded people.
Le Surmelin is situated in the valley of the Surmelin, near the vineyards of Vallées en Champagne. It is the ideal spot to start your bike, oldtimer, motorcycle, quad trips or just take a walk.
The capital of Champagne, Epernay is 30 minutes away, Reims' cathedral as well.
