Welcome to Les Hirondelles B&B! We offer accommodation for 1-4 people in a suite of 2 rooms with a private shower room, in the heart of our home. There is a super comfy king size bed in the loft bedroom and a double bed (not a sofa bed) in the salon below. There is dining table and chairs in the salon - a perfect place for eating or working or planning your itinerary. Breakfast is ready in the suite when you arrive so you are free to eat at whatever time you want. We also offer delicious homemade 'table d'hote' evening meals featuring local and organic produce. (Please request in advance.) We are licensed to sell beer and wine with a meal. Whether you are visiting friends and family, travelling on business, studying, breaking a journey or enjoying the delights of this region, you will receive an extremely warm welcome and have a great nights sleep at Les Hirondelles B&B.
Hello! We are Pete and Cath O’Hagan and we moved to France from the UK in December 2016. For years we’d talked about a complete change of lifestyle. We wanted to spend more of our time doing the things we enjoyed and that were important to us. For us that meant more opportunities for creativity, to live more naturally and sustainably and to be somewhere that inspired us. And we wanted to eat and drink well and share our home and lifestyle with people who would enjoy it! So here we now are living the life we dreamed of and we look forward to sharing it with you.
Armaillé is the jewel of this area with its beautiful river, bridge, lavoir (laundry), mill, church and other historic buildings. It's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the experience of French village life surrounded by nature. Armaillé is near the borders of Maine et Loire, Mayenne and Loire Atlantique and we are very conveniently located for Pouancé, Ombreé d'Anjou, Combreé, Noyant-la-Gravoyère, Segré, Challain-la-Potherie, Senonnes and more.
