Les Forges Wagon is on the edge of the forest Coat Noz, Belle Isle En Terre. The wagon is located in a secluded area of our private garden offering privacy to the occupier, and fantastic view of the forest and valley. Free parking is available, and on request use of the garage is available free for storage of bikes or other equipment. A cabin shower, and composting toilet are next to the wagon one side, with a basic kitchen & rustic table the other side including gas hob, grill, BBQ/smoker/Pizza oven. The wagon is a genuine bow top wagon which we have recently lovingly restored. Please note that the length of the bed is only 190 cm (6 feet, 2.8 inches) so if you are taller then this we can not recommend our wagon for your comfort. We offer a 2 bedroom 'Les Forges Gite' in the same location.
We moved to this location in Brittany in 2018 from the UK, but this has always been a family home. My grandparents helped build the property, and my mother grew up here. After several years of the property being left with no occupants my husband and our 2 children who love the outdoors, and location decided to move to this better living life style. We now enjoy welcoming people to share this wonderful place by offering rental use of the attached gite, or wagon.
The location is fantastic for walking/hiking, foraging in the forest/hedgerows, cycling both on and off road, horse riding, kayaking, and river fishing. We are just 1 mile from the heart of Belle-Isle -En-Terre where you will find a tourist information shop, an Aquarium within the central chateau, a Carrefour shop, Boulangerie, Crepery, bars and eating places. Historic towns of Guingamp, and Lannion are near by, and stunning beaches can be found within 30 minutes drive.
