Les Deux Colombiers is a stunning historic house situated in private park-like gardens that are complemented with old sone walls, formal terraced pathways, topiaries, and a small woodland with some very unusual trees. In the springtime, six species of wild orchids flower here. There is a magnificent large and private swimming pool sheltered between formal hornbeam hedges and Italianate walls, with plenty of space for sunbathing and socializing. There is also a pétanque court and mini croquet.
I am a duel citizen of UK and USA and came to France when I retired from teaching two years ago because I wanted an adventure. I love renovating houses, and I enjoy meeting people.
Les Deux Columbiers is set in a small village and overlooks the roof top of the local chateau. It is located deep in the peaceful Dordogne countryside but with easy drives to many places, such as Brantome, Perigueux, Nontron, and Anguilleme; a wealth of beautiful villages and chateaux to explore; fantastically scenic bike riding and walking...
