Me and Matt have been owned and ran holiday rentals for many years. We personally love our holidays with our family. We love summer holidays in the Alps as well as Winter Ski. There is so much to do in summer as well, as we are surrounded by great facilities for all the family. We have always loved coming to Morzine, as there is a real vibe about the place, great atmosphere and so many nice bars and Restaurants to choose from. MORZINE Morzine in the Haute-Savoie area of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. The centre of Morzine has many bars and restaurants plus boutique shops and bakery’s, which attracts many international travelers every year. Morzine is situated within the ‘Portes du Soleil’ region, with a vast area to Ski or Snowboard in winter but also to bike or walk in the summer. There are 12 resorts within the area. The area includes Les Gets which is 5.4 miles away (12 mins by car). Montriond which is 1 mile away (5 mins by car). You can also head over to Switzerland which is very close by. We are only a 5/10 minute’s drive from the beautiful Lake Montriond, where you can swim or kayak in summer with a couple of restaurants and bars too. There is a walking trail around the circumference of the lake. You can also get the bus up to the lake from Morzine. In the valley bottom between Morzine and Montriond there is a great sports complex (PARC DES DERECHES) which houses a large indoor and outdoor swimming pool area, tennis courts, skate park, plus there is an indoor Ice rink for recreational skating or you can go watch the penguins practice or play games weekly in winter. In the forest area there is a tree top adventure park plus a horse-riding school. There is also a Tourist Information Centre in Morzine for more ideas of what to do in the area.
