Come and discover Saint-Hippo as a corner of paradise in the Gard in this mazet that we have fitted out in 2021, on the vicinity but entirely independent of the family house. The mazet is located on the edge of the village, which offers all amenities. A cycle track with fitness devices , right around the corner , takes you on 15 km of magnificent landscapes towards Sauve and Quissac or to Ganges and Sumène. Unfortunately no bikes available but yours can be stored safely . You may also walk just on the opposite hill, or plan longer hikes in the area (if the heat allows, and bring good shoes). Our housekeeper is available, and shall answer any questions you may have or give you guidance for the various activities available or help you organise them. The mazet is arranged in a very pleasant, pragmatic and functional way.It has no air condition, no TV, but WiFi. It is not really suitable for people with reduced mobility.
We are an uncomplicated family sharing this house (the "Mas") and we all enjoy to hosting people, travelling and have interesting encounters. The opportunity has arisen to share with others this place with an incredible wealth of landscapes, culture and history, which even after decades continues to please us. When we are here, we stay at the back of the mas that you can guess on a photo, and you should hardly notice our presence.
You will have all the advantages of the proximity of the village and of a private terrace on an orchard . For a stopover or to discover more, without the mass tourism of other regions; the city, the mountain or the beach can be reached in around one hour and offer a one day excursion, for those who need more than a nap in the heat and a diner in the nearby villages. Whether it's an hour, half a day or a full day, we still haven't managed to discover everything.
