Launie Lea has two self-contained Studio Apartments, each with a small domestic area, dining table and chairs and an en-suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. ***NEW for 2023 *** Individual portable Air Conditoners have been installed for your comfort during your stay with us. The BAS Studio, designed with disability access in mind, has extra-wide doors, higher toiletseat and a level-access shower. The HAUTE Studio, upstairs, has a double bed and one single bunk bed (bunk is 1.5m high and requires the use of a small ladder). Space restrictions in both appartments' domestic areas nessitate that cooking facilities are limited to a refridgerator, kettle and microwave oven - ideal for heating pre-prepared meals. Both Studios are versitile and ideal for business people, from afar, working locally to Thiviers, or alternatively can be hired by one family/group, hiring both apartments. We ask, however, that guests recognise that others may be in the building and noise levels may travel. Car parking is on the premises (behind electronic gates) and directly outside the main entry door to the units. There is secure storage for guests' bicycles if required. Launie Lea is right beside the RN21 & is therefore subject to moderate noise levels throughout the day and night. Our property is easily accessable to those travelling along this main (North-South) thoroughfare, being roughly 45 minutes south of Limoges and 25 minutes north of Perigueux. Thiviers (2kms north of us) has a variety of restaurants, cafés, tourist information centre, shops, pharmacies and supermarkets (Super U, ALDI, Intermarche & Lidl) - Lidl is the nearest at 1.5kms to the north. We wish that you have a pleasant stay with us and, as such, ask that you direct any requests to us - we will provide what we can and do what we are able to do, within reason, in order to make your stay a good one.

The beautiful village of St Jean de Cole is approximately 5k away and Brantome is approximately 15k away. Both of these areas are of historical interest as well as being picturesque with a choice of cafés and restaurants.
