Family-owned, the Lamartine estate has been welcoming guests for over 40 years. We can suggest: * 4 guest rooms (La tante, Grand mère, La tour et Antoinette), located on 2° floor, staircase * 2 cottages (La noria, Ramona) * as well as a large capacity cottage ( La bergerie, large room of 90 m2 and dormitory of 15 beds). ATTENTION: a simple request for accommodation does not give permission to make a party, evening, meeting...etc in this set "The sheepfold". You have to make the request, and that request will be studied with due attention. A large swimming pool (17x5m) will refresh you, like the plane trees bicentenary and the trees of the orchard (apple, plum, pear, fig...). For hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed around the pool ATTENTION // ANIMALS = * only after telephone contact prior to arrival. Otherwise dogs cats ( excluding any other animal) will not be allowed in rooms or cottages. * They are in any case not allowed in the "Bergerie" (room and dormitory). * In addition, their owners must bring their pet’s mat, basket, bassinet. It goes without saying that these animals cannot be tolerated on the beds, it is a question of cleanliness and correction towards the following guests. Large residence, the Lamartine estate welcomes you with open arms ! During breakfast (included for bed and breakfast/ on request for cottages), we will advise you on what to discover and enjoy in the immediate surroundings ( Ardèche river, hiking trails, museums, wine route, Orange, Vaison la Romaine, Pont du Gard, Nîmes, Avignon, Luberon, Mont Ventoux...etc). WE ARE A GUEST HOUSE, a private house, in which the owners live, work, AND NOT A HOTEL that has a reception...! Arrival: 16:00 or 17:00 so that we can prepare everything for you, and NOT AFTER 19h00 ( or be kind enough to phone us about the delay). If you want to arrive a little earlier, call us beforehand. You will enjoy the pool while waiting for everything to be ready. Table d'hôtes, on reservation only. A reservation in "bed and breakfast" mode in the cottages "Ramona" and "La noria" does not give free access to appliances, gas and dishes of the cottage. A tiny additional cost is then required.

Pont-Saint-Esprit is 2.6 km from Lamartine. An average city, long asleep and neglected, but it contains beautiful remains that only show.... modesty. However, its old bridge (over 700 years), its museum of sacred art (free visit), its local shops, its typical and provencal saturday market are worth a visit. So much to do around ! Descent of the Ardèche in canoe, steps or mountain, bike on the G.R, wine route in Vaucluse or in Gard, Roman monuments, medieval, renaissance, 17 and 18° century, but also lazing around the pool! During breakfast ( so nice home made jams..), we will advise you routes or points of interest, restaurants or cozy summer guinguettes.
