Beautifully restored gite for 2 people (approx 50 sq Metres) with private entrance and off-road parking. The open-plan ground floor consists of lounge/ dining area and fitted kitchen with induction hob, fan oven, fridge-freezer, toaster and Tassimo coffee machine. The stairs lead to a double bedroom with a large double bed (mattress 200x160cm) with oak floors and modern en-suite shower room.
We live in the main house in the courtyard. If you need any assistance or information about the area during your stay, we are happy to help.
At the bottom of the driveway is the centre of Challignac which is a small village surrounded by vineyards. Challignac is just 10 minutes drive from Barbezieux which has boulangeries, restaurants, shops, a cinema, a Chateau and supermarkets. Just around the corner from the property is the Mairie where a Pizza van visits on Friday nights. There is also a bread vending machine about 2km away in the next village, which is Berneuil.
