The house, with a capacity of 4 people, includes three bedrooms, a large living room, with living room and kitchen, and a bathroom. The wood stove is here to welcome you and relax when you return the evening of your walks in the forest, your trips by bike or horse or a day of visits to the many local attractions. The rental is attached to our second cottage, called the Grand Nest, and is located in the heart of an old farmhouse, away from the main road. The nearby land is bordered by a peaceful little stream, called the Barrosset. Pastures and old agricultural buildings (barns, stables, ...) can potentially accommodate, campers, horses or outdoor recreational equipment (mountain biking, bicycles, motorcycles, quads ...).

Lovers of our territory and eager to enhance it, we opened our two rural cottages in La Héronnière, the Grand Nid in June 2014 and Le Petit Nid in April 2019, after intensive renovations. This former farmhouse is now a home that has managed to combine the comfort and convenience of a modern interior and all the charm and authenticity of old buildings. The pleasure of restoring old stones and welcoming visitors to Argonne Ardennes are the main reasons that motivated us to embark on this adventure.

Our cottages in the Héronnière, the Grand Nid and the Petit Nid, are located in Boult-aux-Bois, near the forest of Argonne, in the department of Ardennes, in the Great East Region. This charming little village of about 150 inhabitants is known for hosting the famous editions of "La Hulotte", the association of the House of Nature and the CERFE (Center for Research and Training in Eco-ethology), station of field of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne. Village peaceful but dynamic, there is a basket maker, a metalwork, a chip shop, a restaurant and gardeners practicing the direct sale of their products. You will find, at ten kilometers, the city of Vouziers with its tourist office, its cinema, its swimming pool, its restaurants and all the administrative infrastructures, medical, cultural and sporting traditional. The city also hosts many shops, supermarkets and a commercial and activity area. Its Gothic church of the 13th century, with a remarkable Renaissance portal with 3 porches of the 16th century, is not to be missed.
