Property information

A little piece of paradise set within its very own hamlet in stunning countryside that looks out to the distant Pyrénées. The perfect all year-round destination. Dating back several centuries, our four luxury gîtes are set in beautiful, secluded gardens around a large enclosed swimming pool, providing the perfect setting for couples, families or large group holidays. Easy access to Carcassonne and Toulouse Gîtes de Montcabirol is handily located a few minutes by car from Mirepoix. This lively, colourful town is truly enchanting with its central square surrounded by medieval houses, covered walkways, weekly market, numerous shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. This gîte has it's own private garden with views of the distant Pyrénées. This stunning glass fronted gite comes with it's own terrace where you can soak up the sun and the views with an outdoor summer kitchen. Inside you'll find an open-planned space equipped with modern kitchen, lounge and dining area. There are two double bedrooms - one separate with views of the garden and countryside, and the other on a mezzanine level looking out to the Pyrénées. (Please note that the mezzanine dose have a low beam)

Easy access to Carcassonne and Toulouse Mirepoix also provides easy access to Foix, Pamiers, the Pyrénées and the fast roads to Carcassonne, Toulouse and the Mediterranean resorts of Narbonne and Beziers. A great base to visit top attractions and be active You can choose to do as little or as much when you stay at Montcabirol. Whether you want to start exploring straight away or simply sit by the pool, unwind and take in the beautiful views, you won’t be disappointed. With its breathtaking countryside, views of the Pyrénées and a short drive from the medieval town of Mirepoix with its bustling weekly market, bars and restaurants, Gites de Montcabirol is the ideal location to unwind and explore.
