Located in a small mid-mountain hamlet at an altitude of 800m, this character house adjoining a residential house welcomes you in a quiet environment in the heart of the summer pastures of the Cantal mountains. This region is ideal for practicing outdoor activities: hiking in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park (Puy Mary and Puy Violent), fishing (Mars river and Trizac lake), cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (Falgoux cross-country ski center and Col de Légal ski resort). You can also discover the richness of the regional built heritage by visiting the chapel of Jalhac, the towns of Mauriac and Riom-es-Montagnes as well as the villages of Salers and Tournemire, classified as the Most Beautiful Villages of France. On the front of the house, you will have an enclosed plot of land with a terrace equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue and a second open plot of land (access 10m from the gîte).
