Gite de Lac Tranquille is located beneath the owners main house. It has three rooms, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The decor is rustic, oak beams in each room, the whole gite is painted white and is fresh looking. The bed is king size, with beautiful bed linen, duvet and throws for cooler weather, the bed has 4 pillows of good quality. The little separate kitchen is well equipped and bright, with a farmhouse style entrance, which is fully lockable, guests will have their own keys, as well as remote controlled gate keys to our secure parking. The bathroom has a bath with over bath shower (always plenty of hot water), toilet, wash hand basin, mirror and shelving for toiletries, toilet rolls are provided as well as bath/ shower towels and hand towels. In the bedroom there is a window, fitted with mosquito panel, to enable the window to be left open on warm nights. A fan is provided. There are three mirrors throughout, two in the bedroom, one being full length, and one in the bathroom. Outside, the gardens are a delight, there are various sitting out areas and guests have private use of the swimming pool, a pool alarm is fitted for safety. there is free WIFI. A BBQ is available.

Angela and Ian moved to France in March 2019 from Yorkshire, UK. So far they are loving every minute! Chez le Geai is so peaceful and hence the name, Lac and Gite de Lac Tranquille. Angela is a retired Mental Health Nurse and Ian is a Carpenter. Mollie, the 2 year old Old English Sheepdog, is part of the family. She loves meeting people, adores children (she's soft and gentle and loves our tiny grandchildren) and loves other doggies. We also enjoy meeting people, and so far have had lovely guests.

Chez Le Geai, is a tiny hamlet, consisting of 4 houses, we are quite separate, although it is lovely to have neighbours. It is very peaceful and tranquil here, mostly the only noise is birdsong! We are surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife is abundant. The lake is beautiful, there are chairs dotted around, where you can sit and relax and forget your hectic work life. There are beautiful places to visit nearby and a car is recommended for sightseeing. Safety measures are in place regarding coronovirus, there is a hand sanitiser matching in the gite with sanitizing gel, the gite is given a deep disinfecting clean after each guests, all bedding towels are washed on a long hot wash. At present we are not accepting guests from high risk countries, including UK. French guests are very welcome from "green" areas on our risk map.
