The Gite de l'Escapade is an atypical old house in the village of Frossay. This house has a frame and beams which come from old boats which were in the channel of Martinière. In the 1930s it was known as the barber shop and then a grocery store. This gîte, renovated in 2018, is classified as 3-star furnished tourist accommodation. Beds are made for your arrival and towels are provided free of charge. Do not hesitate to communicate to us your configuration wishes for the rooms. Shower gel and shampoo are at your disposal. Free WIFI. Cot, chair, changing table and bathtub provided on request. For lovers of green while remaining close to the ocean, the Escapade gîte is located near the canal and its aquatic activities. You will also find yourself on the Loire by bike and Vélodysée routes and its natural environment. Numerous beaches and coves are 20 km from the cottage. All shops are accessible on foot. In the surroundings, you can go canoeing, tree climbing, paintball, water skiing, visit animal parks and leisure activities.
We are very happy to receive you in this village house. We want you to feel comfortable there and to make the most of your stay. We like to travel, discover other regions of France or other countries by staying in guest rooms, lodges or hotels. During these trips, we have seen good and bad in accommodation. We only retained the voucher that we implemented in our lodging. We like to receive and make discover our beautiful region as well as its history. For this we are members of the Saint-Brévin and South Estuary Tourist Office, which allows us to provide you with documentation.
The accommodation is located in the center of Frossay, in Loire-Atlantique in the Pays de la Loire region. Located on the Loire by bike and Vélodyssée routes, you will also find many hiking, cycling and horse riding trails. Ideally located near Pornic, Nantes and St-Nazaire, it allows you to shine and visit the region. - 3 km from the ornithological reserve of Massereau and Migron. - Less than 5 km "Defi nature" leisure park, "Le Legendia Parc", "Le quai vert" for canoeing or pedalos; - Less than 10 km of lake for water skiing or going to the beach; - The white sand beaches of St-Brévin-les-Pins at 20 km; - The seaside resort of Pornic 20 km away; - Nantes with its history, museums and monuments 35 km away; - St-Nazaire with its shipyard, beaches and museums 25 km away; - La Baule, Guérande, the salt marshes and the Brière at 40 km; - To go further Noirmoutier and the Passage du Gois is 50 km away.
