Welcome to our beautiful house nestled within the historic Gabian Remparts. With stunning views of the nearby river and surrounding vineyards, this property offers a unique and tranquil experience in the heart of Southern France. Ideal for couples, our home sleeps up to four guests, but for couples, we transform the second bedroom into a cozy living room—perfect for reading, relaxing, or enjoying a glass of local wine. The main living space is inviting and comes with a vinyl record player featuring classic tunes from Edith Piaf and Charles Trenet, enhancing the ambiance of your stay. Every room is designed with your comfort in mind, featuring double-glazed windows for optimal peace and quiet. Outside, the balcony invites you to sip coffee while watching herons fly by, laughing ducks splash in the water, or frogs singing in the spring. For the more adventurous, we have a secure storage room under the main house for kayaks, paddleboards, and bicycles, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. Each stay is meticulously prepared with fresh towels, clean linens, and a thorough cleaning to ensure a perfect, restful retreat.
As a keen cyclist and outdoor enthusiast, I first discovered Gabian through my love of hiking and cycling, which quickly made me fall in love with the region. Three years ago, I moved to France from Ireland to embrace the relaxed, beautiful lifestyle that this area offers. I’m passionate about providing a space that feels like home but also offers a unique experience for visitors to explore the stunning countryside and local vineyards. I want every guest to feel comfortable, whether you're here for a quiet getaway or an active holiday. I’m happy to meet guests in person or simply provide detailed access information—whichever suits your preferences. This picturesque village is rural and peaceful, yet only a short drive to the bustling towns of Pézenas and Roujan, where you can explore more shops, restaurants, and historical sites. Gabian is also a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of opportunities for cycling, hiking, and walking through scenic trails and vineyards. The town’s medieval architecture and relaxed pace of life make it a unique destination.
