Latin Quarter apartment (5 minutes from Notre Dame) in an elegant 18°century limestone building w/ high ceilings & double-glazed windows overlooking the street (pedestrian district): - Living/dining room w/ double sofa-bed, armchair, dining table & chairs, desk, wardrobe, buffet, chest of drawers & bar - Double bedroom - Large, fully equipped kitchen - Bathroom w/ spacious shower cabinet, wash basin, WC. Equipment: fiber optic internet/WiFi, multiple-channel TV, phone & mini HiFi/i-phone dock. The Latin Quarter - the centre of historic Paris - is a medieval maze of winding, narrow streets and stone-paved alleyways, with a few quiet, hidden squares, as well as restaurants, shops, cinemas, theaters, galleries and museums. Notre Dame Cathedral is in the immediate vicinity. The Sorbonne University and major museums - Louvre, Orsay (impressionists), Cluny (with the remains of the 1st century Roman thermal baths) are all within 5-20 minutes' on foot. The Saint Michel-Notre Dame Subway station is 2 minutes from the apartment, offering easy and direct access to the airports, the major train stations, Versailles Palace and EuroDisneyland.
