This three bedroom apartment (2 lockable bedrooms) is located in the popular and typical French mountain village of the Haute Savoie in the Portes du Soleil ski area. A true winter paradise for ski enthusiasts of all categories and ages. In the summer months ideal to enjoy the wonderful mountain air while hiking or mountain biking and ideal for making trips. Close to ski lift (walking distance) which is open in both winter and summer. The apartment has a living room with kitchen. A large bedroom upstairs and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed downstairs. Bathroom with toilet and shower. And above a bathroom with toilet and sink. On the balcony a wonderful view over the mountains. The entire apartment is available. The private garage can also be used (for example for the mountain bikes), as well as the ski locker on the first floor. A private parking space is available.
We mail all useful information such as entry facilities and preparation tips for travel and accommodation. A brochure with lots of information about the apartment and the environment is available. We are always available, before and during your holiday, for questions and help.
Châtel is located in France (Haute-Savoie) on the border with Switzerland between Lake Geneva and Mont-Blanc. It is a typical French village with a cozy center that consists of numerous restaurants, shops and bars. Châtel (1200 m) is part of the largest connected ski area in the world, 'Portes du Soleil', which consists of 12 different ski resorts, spread over no less than 650 km of piste on the border between France and Switzerland. Several restaurants on the mountain are open and offer excellent rest and lunch facilities. The ski area is an excellent hiking area in summer. It is also a true paradise for mountain bikers. Many ski lifts are open in the summer to bring the hiker and mountain biker to the mountain top. Several restaurants on the mountain are open and offer excellent rest and lunch facilities. The height of the ski area is between 1100 and 2466 meters. Because of the average height of the area most slopes are wooded and there are many slopes between the trees. The Linga lift is located diagonally opposite the apartment, a few minutes walking distance.
