The house is located directly on the main D117 road, outside the main village of Saint-Martin-Lys. Guests are welcome to use the large communal lounge area, with comfortable seating and the terrace with views of the gorge. There is no air conditioning at the property, but all rooms are equipped with fans and shutters on the windows. Please note - access to the property is via steps from the front of the house. All bedrooms are on the first floor, accessed via a staircase.
The nearby village of Saint-Martin-Lys has no amentites. Therefore it is necessary for guests to use transport to access bars, restaurants and shops. It is not possible to walk to the next available town or village as there is no footpath. The nearest town is Axat and is 4km . It has a small general store, butchers and bakery etc. There is also 2 restaurants/ bar and a pizzeria. Quillan is 8km and has a main supermarket and plenty of bars and restaurants
