Kukkolankoski Resort (Kukkolan Vierastalot) offers everything you could want for your holiday: high-quality accommodation and if you want, plenty of activities are available on order by nordicsafaris. The apartments have been designed and built for both vacationing families with children and active adults. As a general rule, one cabin - apartment - is meant for a family of four (two adults and two children) and families of more than four we can rent the cabin, with three bedroom. Discover the borderless border and take advantage of the opportunity - for example to make shopping in two country.

Tornio gateway of the centuries to Lapland and the west Both the historical and the modern image of Tornio are diverse and original. Over the 390 years of the city's history can only partly be squeezed into the general development phases of Finnish cities.The excellent location of the city at the mouth of a large river, that dominates a large part of Lapland, is a major cause for the originality of the city's history. Tornionjoki river is the biggest free-flowing river in Europe in which whitefish and salmon spawn. Kukkolankoski rapids are a crown jewel of Tornionjoki river, which flows unobstructed even in winter. The Torne River Tornionjoki - flows into the northernmost rim of the Baltic Sea on the border of Finland and Sweden. The river system is distinctly the largest producer of wild salmon in the Baltic, and one of the largest present spawning rivers of salmon in the world.
