Is hospitality in your blood? Is it innate? Or learned during life? Maybe a little of both. It is probably no coincidence that I, Sigrid, started working in a hotel at a very young age. What started as a holiday job, resulted in ten years of living and working on Terschelling. Then a few years in Zermatt (near the Matterhorn) in Switzerland. This international experience in particular was the ideal opportunity for me to learn better German and English. Wim mainly learned German during the years in which he worked on the North Holland coast, which is extremely popular with our eastern neighbours. During his backpacking trips to Australia, New Zealand and Japan. He mastered the English language. Together we share the desire for 'adventure'. Years ago we already visited the Emigration Fair, when it was still orientating. At the beginning of 2022 is the time for a leap into the Spanish deep. And of course we are now working hard on the español.

Sunny Vista B&B is situated in a peaceful rural setting just 3km from the beautiful, friendly and thriving town of Pinoso, one of the wealthiest towns in Spain due to the marble quarry. Our fantastic view, swimming pool and home-made breakfast and snacks make it a lovely place to relax. The fields are planted with vines, almonds and olives. In February, the fields are filled with pink almond blossoms. Known as El Pinos, Pinoso is named after the pine trees that line the mountain ranges. It has a Spanish rural lifestyle, hardly any traffic. There are many local bodegas producing their fabulous wines. Pinoso has many shops, bars, restaurants (2 of which are Michelin stars), a music and arts theater. There is an excellent sports center with outdoor pools, tennis courts, soccer fields and a gym. Pinoso's biggest festival is celebrated in August and shouldn't be missed as the whole town celebrates with stalls, food and wine, entertainment, music and dancing. The nearby towns of Elda and Yecla are famous for wine and leather goods. Fortuna with its hot springs is 24 km away.
