Total Luxury! Room was amazing, bath was amazing, food prepared by Marcos and Patricia amazing. I was on the Camino couldn’t find a bed and walk 6km here for the night and back the next day. You may also be able to get a taxi, It was totally worth the money and the walk. Loved my stay. I was not the only pilgrim being pampered that night. Thank you.

The room was basic but had everything we needed and was comfortable and warm on a freezing day. All facilities you would need such as restaurants are nearby. Easy to access. Nice quiet room

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon so very quiet and only one local bar open , the hotel had a cafe. Very quiet village , shame about the huge freight lorries obviously using the road through the village as a cut through.

There is nothing to do there, then just relax.
There is nothing to do there, then just relax.
There is a shop, where you can find the most necessary things there. The restaurant also has some choice, and the vegans would have to do with french fries and a salad, which is not that bad.
I have seen that people do not stop there much on the way to Santiago. The path from Villafranca was well-marked, you just have to follow the path, even though I was most nervous about walking the section from there, it worked well.

I really liked this hotel. The staff work really hard and are friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable and I had a great view. The decor and ambiance of the building added to the pleasure of my stay as did being able to relax on the patio in the garden with a drink and a book. The dinner was excellent as was the breakfast the next morning.
It was also very helpful to have access to a washing line to dry a few hand washed items.
Historical hospital for perigrinos, a classical set of building with nooks and crannies all over, a great bar is in the back of the hotel and a decent restaurant is on the ground floor for dinner and breakfast. It's location is ideal for those on the Camino as it is 50 meters from the climb up the Montes de Oca, which is quite challenging. A great stop on the Camino
A fantastic historic building in the old pilgrims hospital. We were the first pilgrims staying in the hotel for the season, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They also spoke very good English. This place was an expected gem along the Camino.
This is our third stay here which speaks for itself. The hotel is quiet, very comfortable and provides a wonderful rest opportunity as a Camino stop. Reception staff in particular are very helpful and friendly. Food is delicious too. Overall, highly recommended.
This is a stunning hotel. The historic building and then furniture are both beautiful and worth walking around the building to enjoy. The breakfast was fantastic and the best we had on our travels so far. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Christine was such a kind sweet host. Lovely clean albergue . Room with 2 twin beds was good. Shower great . Tiny grocery store across the street . Not much cooked with some things and had a lovely dinner in the kitchen with 3 other people . Perfect .
A beautiful hotel/hostel in the Camino. I needed an accessible room and this hotel provided it. If you have barrier issues, this will make life easier. The pilgrim meal was so special and elegant. Everyone was helpful so I could enjoy my stay.
This is a lovely hotel on the Camino de Santiago. It's attached to a pilgrims' hostel, and serves a pilgrims' dinner (you don't need to be a pilgrim) for 15 euros which is great value. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We'll return.
Amazing place! The couple that owns it were so amazing and they cook the best food ever! They made me feel at home. It is my favorite albergue so far on my Camino Frances! When I do this again, I’ll be staying here again!
Right on the route of the Camino with a good restaurant next door (owned by the family that own the hotel). The owner was lovely - bright, friendly and helpful.
Beautifully appointed large room. The staff were kind and courteous. The hotel was originally a pilgrims hospital built in 1390! Beautiful hotel and grounds.
