Corralejo is located in the north of Fuerteventura, and it is impossible to talk about Corralejo without mentioning the impressive dunes that follow one after the other along its coastline and which form some of the most spectacular beaches on the island. Being one of the most popular areas of Fuerteventura, the commercial and leisure offer covers practically all fields, being one of the best and most varied on the island. You won't miss anything. And the weather, as is common in the archipelago, remains at a fairly pleasant temperature all year round. One of the main attractions of Corralejo is its almost 3,000 hectares of pure white sand, the famous Corralejo Dunes, which form a picture postcard image that is a must-see. The surrounding paradisiacal beaches, known as Grandes Playas (Great Beaches), deserve a special mention. From Corralejo you can see, not far away, the small island of Lobos and the southern face of Lanzarote. It's a magical sight, but you can go further. Several ferries depart daily both to Lanzarote and to the island of Lobos. Corralejo is one of Fuerteventura's most popular resorts, and its natural surroundings are largely to blame.
