Welcome to Casa Londi I am Lonneke, a spontaneous, sporty and Burgundian lady. For years I ran a camping and b&b in the Netherlands together with my husband. After this wonderful adventure, we dreamed about a house in Spain and in 2017 we started our search. It was already clear that it had to be the Andalusia region, and preferably not too far from the sea. We went to look east of Malaga and as soon as we drove up the east side we both got a very nice feeling of peace. Not too many buildings, beautiful mountainous area and smaller coastal towns with beautiful beaches. We ended up in Frigiliana and Nerja. A beautiful area with nice little streets, whitewashed houses and a beautiful nature reserve for walks. In 2019 we continued our search here and went house hunting. We soon found the beautifull town Almuñécar in the Granada region. After a day of strolling around in the historic center and listening to our gut feeling, we discovered that we had found a hidden gem. So wonderfully Spanish, relaxed, by the sea and with many beautiful bays. How could this gem not be so touristic? On this day we fell in love with this town and within a few days we also found a spacious house on Mount Fuentes, where peace fell over us, the view of the mountains and the sea is different every moment of the day and the amenities are close by. This region brings us peace and the real holiday feeling. The wonderful climate that brings pleasant temperatures and many hours of sunshine all year round and the still real Spanish atmosphere that you will find here, are a relief. We have completely restyled our house and everyone is enthusiastic about the homely atmosphere that hangs there, no sterile holiday home for you! Casa Londi is a stylish holiday home that has everything, where you can relax from the moment you arrive. Comfortable and nicely furnished in a quiet area. A spacious holiday home for 5 people, only 75 meters from the beautiful infinity pool and only 5 minutes by car from the beaches, restaurants and shops and the historic center of Almuñécar. The beautiful Casa Londi is situated higher on a mountain, which gives you beautiful views over the surrounding mountains and the sea. An ideal holiday home to offer absolute relaxation away from the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life. Casa Londi consists of 3 floors and is completely restyled in 2020. The holiday home has a nice homely atmosphere and is fully furnished. There are two spacious bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, situated on the first and second topfloors. On the groundfloor you'll find a the bright and spacious living room with two double sliding doors that give direct access to a large outdoor terrace. Here you can stay to eat, sunbathe, laze around, BBQ and above all enjoy the beautiful view over the mountains. The living room is tastefully decorated, with a large sofabed, armchair, coffee table and a Smart TV where you as a guest can connect to Netflix, Amazon, Video and Social Media accounts. There are also some Spanish television channels available. The dining area has a large table that is even suitable for 6 people. A nice colorful reading corner completes the living area. The living room is also air-conditioned. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine and dolce gusto machine and of course all the utensils needed for your stay. A second panorama swimming pool is about a five minute walk away and is open all year round. The nearest beach of Velilla Taramay is a 15-minute walk. Note that walking back up is quite a climb, but the view is well worth it. We therefore recommend that you have a car, scooter or e-bike available during your holiday.

Fuentes is on the edge of Almunecar and has stunning views. It is a great location to enjoy a relaxing holiday either during the scorching summer or simply to enjoy a bit of winter sunshine..... Almuñécar is a lively town but still retains the heart of an old Andalusian "pueblo" with its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. The old town is full of tapas bars, bodegas, restaurants and interesting shops of all kinds. In the market hall (Mercado Municipal) you will find fresh fish, meat, vegetables and fruit from local growers and suppliers every day. On Fridays there is a street market (Mercadillo) on Paseo Blas Infante. Here you will find clothes, shoes, ceramics, jewelry, handbags and more. Places of interest in Almuñécar include the ancient Phoenician fish salt factory, Roman aqueducts, the Parque Manuelo botanical garden (an international Jazz festival is held here in July each year), Bird Park Loro Sexi, the ancient Moorish Castle of San Miguel, shark aquarium and various fish, and the Aqua-Tropic water park. For golf enthusiasts there is an 18 hole course just 20 minutes drive away in the neighboring town of Motril. Located at the foot of the snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountains is the fantastic capital city of Granada. It takes no more than an hour to drive there from Casa Londi, making it possible to ski in the morning and take a dip in the Mediterranean in the afternoon! A visit to the Alhambra is a must in Granada! The Moorish Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Spain's most visited attractions. The popular seaside resort of Nerja is a 20-minute drive away, where you have beautiful beaches and cozy streets with many shops and restaurants. A visit to the cave of Nerja is definitely worth it. Just above Nerja is the beautiful white village of Frigiliana. Frigiliana is known as one of the most beautiful white villages in Andalusia.
