Vivienda de 1959, con mucha luz, en un barrio tranquilo a la entrada del pueblo, a los pies de la muralla medieval. Es un primer piso que ha sido rehabilitado en estilo rústico-industrial, con predominio de tonos: blanco nieve, tiza, marfil, arcilla, negro y varios grises. Se han conservado elementos originales y se ha respetado la altura original de los techos. En la nueva propuesta, aparecen materiales como: hormigón, ladrillo macizo de derribo, alabastro hierro, cerámica, madera de sabina... Algunos enseres familiares han sido restaurados, para conservar algo de la memoria familiar se les ha dado nuevos usos. Hay un espacio etnográfico acristalado donde se exhiben objetos y herramientas con las oportunas explicaciones; entre ellos, algunos viejos botellines de cerveza que aparecieron en el transcurso de las obras de rehabilitación. Aparte del equipamiento básico, se ofrecen otros servicios como: mini-nevera en ambos dormitorios; chimenea eléctrica en zona del sofá, para crear ambiente de hogar; extintor en rellano escalera, cerca de pta de entrada; plantas en todas las ventanas y éstas tienen mosquitera y persiana eléctrica; Smart-TV con pantalla plana de 45' y señal wifi; agua de ósmosis inversa (pequeño grifo al lado del grifo principal de fregadero). ¡¡Olvídese de comprar agua mineral!! La escalera de acceso es un espacio musealizado, en el que se aprecian técnicas constructivas tradicionales.
Desde "Casa Chus" deseamos que disfruten de su estancia en este pueblo tan turístico, que algunos han calificado como el más bonito de entre 50 pueblos de España; otros, el destino núm. 25 de entre 100 destinos turísticos del mundo. Lleva más de 70 años inmerso en tareas de restauración y embellecimiento, tiene catedral, comparte diócesis con Teruel y goza de tratamiento de ciudad. Albarracín cuenta con un fabuloso Pinar del Rodeno, uno de los mejores lugares de Europa para la escalada modalidad boulder; además de ser un lugar apropiado para observar el firmamento (Vía Láctea y lluvia de estrellas), para recolectar setas y para disfrutar de varios abrigos naturales con pinturas de arte rupestre levantino, del período Neolítico (6.500 B.P.) Además de la escalada, se puede practicar la pesca de trucha, la caza mayor, el senderismo, mountain bike (rutas GR por pinares, paseo fluvial...), baños en piscina municipal o en río Guadalaviar o -sencillamente- un ligero paseo por los huertos o por el parque árabe, a sólo 2 min. de casa. El casco histórico tiene un increíble atractivo con el trazado serpenteante de sus calles empedradas, que en el centro están alfombradas por losas de rodeno, que es la misma piedra arenisca de los pinares protegidos próximos y la misma con la que se fabrica un yeso artesano que se usa en los enlucidos de fachadas, ofreciendo una amplia y uniforme paleta de tonos rojizos a las viviendas. No olvidar el encanto de las casas irregulares, apretadas unas contra las otras, que se retuercen en el espacio, con sus troncos trabados y forja tradicional. Indispensables las visitas a la Catedral El Salvador, El Mirador, La Alcazaba...; la compra de artesanía y productos alimenticios locales, así como su variada gastronomía.
Ud. se encuentra en un barrio tranquilo, al lado del parking público, a tan sólo 2 min. a pie del barrio del Arrabal (cruzando por parking), donde encontrará Centro de Salud, supermercado y horno de leña con diversos tipos de pan y pastas para desayuno, que son muy apreciados: pan de pintadera, chafado, sequillo, almojábanas, magdalenas... A tan sólo 1 min. se encuentra la Oficina de Turismo y el barrio cuenta con varios restaurantes, algún pub con encanto y tienda de quesos artesanales típicos; además de la proximidad del parque, de diseño árabe. Desde Casa Chus se llega a Pinares del Rodeno en sólo 5 min. en coche. La plaza Mayor se encuentra a 5 min. a pie (750 m).
