Easy to access the Camino the next day. The hostess did our laundry which we appreciated so much. Easy walk into old Town. It was quiet at night

Liked everything about Agora. Walking the Camino and decided to take a rest day so stayed here. Really nice hostel. Clean, bright, well designed. We shared a room with double plus 2 bunks with its own bathroom and separate loo. There were lockers, plenty of hooks, plug sockets, pouches to put stuff by bed. Had thought of everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. V close to Camino and central squares. Highly recommend. (Liked tags on lockers made from reused bottle tops 😊)

We have been here many times and enjoy the size and the people of Estella. There are many small restaurants and places to eat. The town is walkable and the Plazas always seem to have lots of activity. The people are very nice. Spanish also Basque are the primary languages. Not everyone speaks English so brush up your skills and pull out Google translate if you need to. From about March through October/November you will find many pilgrims walking the Camino Francés with backpacks. This is a very old town with many beautiful churches and a beautiful park along the river. Bus service to Pamplona and Logroño are easy to access. Taxis are also available

Estella has a beautiful old town.
Estella has a beautiful old town. The industrial entry to the town seemed to lack promise, but once in the old town, it was wonderful. The Roman bridge was great and we had a delicious menu del dia at the Bar Alday.

Estrella is worth exploring. Lots of little shops and restaurants. A beautiful city. There is a beautiful park close to the bus station and right around the corner to the right ID the bus station is a wonderful little cafe/bar with a clean bathroom.

Estella is great for wandering around with interesting narrow streets, mediaeval architecture and lovely old churches. There is also a park, a good art gallery and a cultural centre. The lady in the tourist office speaks excellent English and takes time to explain the places of interest. Estella is also on the pilgrim route to Santiago di Compostela.

Estella is a beautiful town, rich in history and with welcoming people. The landmarks and churches are amazing. Cafe Mundo on San Nicholas has a wide gluten free selection on their menu and is excellent taste and value. Be sure to try their Sangria and gluten free cheesecake!
The man at the front desk was very helpful. We booked a second night and it turned out that we had to leave at 5am and return at 9pm, meaning we would have missed check-in time. He checked us in the night before which helped us a lot. His service made the hotel so attractive that we decided to stay a third night, but this time in a private room.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, has everything you need, shampoo and shower gel are free.
All of staff were very good especially the young barman who spoke excellent English, The food in the restaurant was of a high standard and the price reflected this, also food was available in the bar and it was reasonably priced.
The hotel was very modern and a credit to the cleaning staff, it was spotless.
Set in a quiet residential area the Bar is frequented by lots of local people and this is always (in my view) a good sign.
This felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Lovely and warm in November and great kitchen facilities. Rooms have 3 or 4 beds in them and not all are bunks. Fantastic location on the river - converted old mill I think. Two separate lounge areas to chill. €1 for fireplace or use of oven but microwave has a convection oven and that works very well. Kitchen great. Good buffet breakfast €6.
We liked the hotel restaurant. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast there and it was very convenient. The bed was comfortable. Since the hotel was located on the Camino, it was nice to see the Camino walkers with their backpacks and walking sticks stop by for a quick coffee. The hotel staff was very responsive to our needs.
Great location as you enter Estella on the camino. The staff was excellent, rooms were clean, and the kitchen and meeting areas were perfect. Nice area for pilgrims to wash and hang clothes. We loved how this hostel retained the history of the building. A very nice stay in Estella. Buen Camino.
Location was great - just a block from the Camino de Santiago. Decathlon sporting goods store and two grocery stores are nearby, about a 10 minute walk to restaurants (shout out to Bar Mundo!). Hotel was decent - not fancy, but clean and comfortable room, fan…good for a one night stay.
Hostal La Rua was absolutely perfect. Everything was new and the room and common areas were spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. Asun was very kind as well and provided several good suggestions for Estella. I wish was staying longer. :)
Hiking the Camino it was way too far from the path disappointed about that. That is a problem with bookings.com in general it is too far from the Camino path peep. You need to warn people on the Frances app how far hotel is from walking path
This hotel is a gem. it is located at the best part of Estella (so good so that people were filming outside when I stayed). The hotel is the picturesque medieval building outside yet modern & clean inside. I would love to come back.
Lovely b and b in Estella. Pablo and his wife made us very welcome. Picked us up from the Camino and dropped us back next morning. Lovely home made breakfast. Would highly recommend this place to stay in Estella.
Really great place - more like a hotel than an albergue as it came with sheets and towels (although the owner said she was giving us a free upgrade!) Lots of space, great location, highly recommended!
Perfect location and a real luxury boutique hotel feel. The bedroom was amazing with a view onto the ground floor terrace, Staff were professional and helpful and the bar/restaurant first class.
