The ALHAMBRA.MESONES 4 Apartments are strategically located in the historic center of Granada, Calle Mesones, the oldest and most commercial of the city since the 14th century. When leaving them we find a confluence of the most important streets, squares and tourist places of interest such as: Puerta Real, Calle Ganivet, Calle Reyes Católicos, Calle Recogidas, Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Plaza de la Trinidad, Calle Alhóndiga, Calle Puentezuelas, Bib-Rambla Square and the Cathedral. Our location is located just 12 minutes’ walk from the entrance to the monumental site of LA ALHAMBRA.
The accommodations are ideal for their capacity and distribution for couples, groups of friends and families with children, because we have an apartment with a children's area. We are attentive and responsible professionals. We offer the highest quality and the best service to our clients in each of the services, making them feel as if they were in their own home. In ALHAMBRA.MESONES 4 you will stay in a privileged place full of history and magic, all accompanied by an easy and fast access to the most important sites of a city as millenary as GRANADA.
The neighborhood is one of the oldest areas since the Nasrid era (13th century) when a dense suburb known as al-Rambla or El Arenal forms. Its main street was called Zanaqat al-Haddadin now called Calle Mesones, it had two entrance doors at each end, that of Bib al-Masda and that of Puerta Real. From its origin, this street has been very important for the city, it was home to the most diverse trades of the time, small souks, inns, wineries, hostels and commercial stores that over the centuries have been maintaining the function for the that were created at the time. The situation in the center of the city is so unbeatable that approximately 850 meters away we find the entrance to the Monumental complex of the Alhambra and in 350 meters the old Mayor Mosque of the city, which is now the Metropolitan Cathedral. In a radius of 200 meters you can visit monuments, lunch in restaurants, make tapas routes, shopping in the Arab souk, have a Moorish tea, take an Arabic bath in a Hammam or even enjoy the charm of a flamenco show.
