The village Beiershagen is located north of Ribnitz- Damgarten at the Saaler Bodden at the southern Bodden coast (2,5 km) of the Baltic Sea island Fischland Darß Zingst (17 km), between the Hanseatic cities Rostock and Stralsund with the nearby Baltic Sea island Rügen. The long beaches on Fischland- Darß- Zingst are considered to be the most beautiful on the Baltic coast - stoneless, sheltered from the wind and child-friendly. The bays of the Baltic Sea and the Bodden are characterized by a variety of small bathing spots and meadows on the shores and contiguous coastal forests. A fascinating scenic contrast to the flat coastal landscape is the glacial Recknitz valley. The Bodden landscape with its many hills, wide meadows, pastures, fields and forests is pure peace and nature experience. Diverse fauna and flora in this nature and landscape reserve can be discovered by bike, on foot, in a canoe or on horseback. Ideal conditions in the area to surf, kite, sail, dive, boat or canoe, skate, bike, ride, hike and fish. Prima water sports areas - are also suitable for beginners. Here no wishes remain open.
