Welcome to Obing with Annemarie and Hans Herbst, in the beautiful Chiemgau (Bavaria), only 8 km from Lake Chiemsee with the from Lake Chiemsee with the Chiemgau Alps to the south. Obing is easy to reach via the A 8 or the B 304 and lies exactly between Munich and Salzburg on the B 304. Look forward to a tastefully furnished flat to feel at home with W-LAN, large flat screen TV, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower/WC/bathtub, underfloor heating, tiled floors, shutters and furnished terrace or loggia. Washing machine available. Children are welcome, pets are not allowed, non-smoking holiday home. A free parking space directly at the house and a lockable garage for your bicycles and skis are at your disposal. In the garden you will find a trampoline, swing, table football, table tennis, football goal and basketball hoop. The property is fenced. Loggia and terrace are equipped with table, chairs and sun lounger. Our house is located on the southern outskirts of the village, about 500 m from the bakery and a variety of shops, beer gardens etc.. Obing is located about 10 km north of Lake Chiemsee, exactly between Munich and Salzburg. The village has a well-maintained lido, golf and mini-golf, three large beer gardens and is well catered for in terms of culinary delights. Obing - an ideal starting point for day trips to Burghausen, Munich and Salzburg! Many other sights in the region are also within easy reach. Numerous bathing lakes (in the Seeoner Seen and Eggstätt-Hemhofer-Seenplatte nature reserves) invite you to take a dip. A well-developed network of cycle paths (ADFC certified RadReiseRegion) and many hiking trails through unspoilt nature offer variety for your holiday. Many hiking and cycling tours are well signposted (ADFC certified CyclingTravelRegion) and lead you partly through unspoilt nature of our beautiful Chiemgau. Obing is the ideal starting point for numerous excursions. There are also several thermal baths (e.g. Chiemgau-Therme 14 km away), for skiing (40 km away), summer toboggan run or high ropes course etc., everything is within easy reach.
