Company information

The three siblings, Dorothee, Hendrik and Robert, run the managing company DHR GmbH & Co. KG as the managing company for the vacation home and, as the hosts, attach great importance to coziness. THE HOUSE: Built in 1878, it originally served as a residence for the workers of the adjacent former hosiery factory. Lovingly restored by the Seibt family in 2000, the residence served as a meeting place for the whole family. They want to preserve the atmosphere of joy and security and pass it on to lovers of the Ore Mountains. Other EQUIPMENT of the apartment: A changing mat and baby bath are available in the spacious bathroom. A travel cot and a high chair for infants can also be used. The cozy living room with fireplace is adjoined by a small balcony, where barbecuing is possible with the available electric grill. There is a large internet-enabled smart TV on each floor. The guest WLAN is available throughout the apartment.

Property information

The apartment can accommodate a maximum of eight people and occupies three floors, the second floor is already above the ground (unfortunately not suitable for people with walking disabilities). On the second floor is the small, separately lockable living area with mini kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet. Integrated into this living and sleeping area with pull-out double couch is a play area with board games and bowling billiards. On the second floor is the large living / dining area with adjoining kitchen, a spacious bathroom with tub and shower, a bedroom with double bed and another bedroom with single bed, which can be expanded to a second sleeping place. Another small living and sleeping area with double bed is located on the third floor. Both kitchens are well-equipped, with the main kitchen on the second floor offering significantly more facilities. Coffee and espresso maker, microwave, waffle iron, toaster and bread slicer complete the kitchen equipment with four-burner ceramic hob and oven as well as dishwasher and refrigerator with integrated icebox.

Neighbourhood information

Annaberg-Buchholz 12 km away is the old mining town of Annaberg-Buchholz with Saxony's largest hall church St. Annen. Also the manufactory of dreams and many small stores full of Erzgebirge wood art make a trip essential. The Greifensteine Only 2 km away is the leisure and recreation area Greifensteine. Here you can follow in the footsteps of the "Robin Hood" of the Ore Mountains, Karl Stuelpner, or visit the natural stage with its unique scenery (performed by the Eduard-Winterstein-Theaterensemble Annaberg). With a climbing forest, a large bathing lake, a thermal bath, a miniature golf course, playgrounds and restaurants for excursions, the Greifenstein area offers an experience for young and old. Oberwiesenthal The climatic health resort Oberwiesenthal (36 km away), which borders directly on the Czech Republic, is the highest excursion destination in Saxony with its 1,215 m high Fichtelberg mountain. To enjoy hearty goulash with Bohemian dumplings and dark beer, it's worth taking a detour to the Fichtelberg's Bohemian neighbor, Keilberg (Klinovec).
