Welcome to our apartment in Bernau am Chiemsee. Free parking is available directly in front of the property. The 28 sqm studio has 1 bedroom-living room (with a large double bed and 49 inch flat screen TV), 1 hallway, 1 wardrobe, 1 small bathroom including shower and toilet, 1 small, well-equipped pantry kitchen and a beautiful wooden terrace Garden. The apartment is located in a traditional, double-shelled wooden log house. This is a low-energy house. Cool in summer and cozy and warm in winter. A bakery is only 150m away and is open every day except Sundays. There are other restaurants and beer gardens in the area. The nearby train station gives you the opportunity to travel every hour towards Munich or Salzburg within 45 - 60 minutes. Buses also run from here to the surrounding towns and ski areas. By bike you can reach the Chiemsee beach in about 10 minutes. Hiking and cycling trails lead directly past the property.
I was born and grew up in Chiemgau and am happy to welcome new guests. We speak Bavarian ;-), German, English and Portuguese and are always happy to help with your concerns and questions. It is important to us that our guests feel comfortable with us and can spend a pleasant and undisturbed holiday in this wonderful area.
Mountains (Kampenwand, Hochgern, Hochplatte...), Lake Chiemsee, cycle paths are in the immediate vicinity. Visit Herrenchiemsee Castle and the Fraueninsel. Chiemgau has a lot to offer. Whether surfing, swimming, partying, paragliding, skiing, hiking, mountaineering, climbing... Enjoy your vacation in Chiemgau.
