Accommodation is inside the Podorlicky Open Air Museum Krnovice in a half of the wooden log house - homestead with a balcony. It is certainly the largest apartment in the region - 106m2! Smoking is prohibited in the whole open air museum and of course in the whole building. The open air museum is in a peaceful natural place - the neighbours are approx. 100m away. The view of the house is to the museum or to meadows. You can find here deep forests suitable for walking, jogging, cycling or relaxation generally. Free parking for your car is just next the entrance to the apartment. Unconventional kitchen with all the necessary equipment - fridge, microwave oven, boiling kettle etc. - connected to the living room and dining room (35 m2). Above this big room is a hall opened to the living room. Next to the hall are two bedrooms. In a hall you will find a child corner, library and a couch (sleeping for two people if necessary). Wi-Fi is in the whole apartment.
A family firm - Drevozpracujici druzstvo - builds wooden log houses (similar to the apartment), repairs wooden historical sights and produces wooden furniture from a massive wood (everything you will see around you was made by us). Our big hobby is the Podorlicky Open Air Museum Krnovice. During your stay you can walk through the museum, watch our animals. The museum is a nonprofit activity donated by our other commercial activities. The accommodation is for us a small bonus for the next development of the museum. In the compound you can find our polite friendly dogs so if you plan your stay with your animal, please contact us and we will find some solution.
Our region is nice for walking, cycling, jogging, relaxing etc. The countryside is nearly flat. Pine woods reach up to 40 km away. There are cycling routes (just around the museum). It is possible ride down the river Orlice (approx. 15 km) - boat rental is in Tyniste nad Orlici. In Trebechovice pod Orebem is summer swimming pool, up to 18 km away there are several castles (Opocno, Castolovice, Kostelec nad Orlici), approx. 10 km is Hradec Králové famous for its architecture from the beginning of the 20th century... If you will be bored from the travelling or only tired, you can barbecue in front of the house or sit with a coffee on the balcony. If you will be interested in other places for visiting, we will be helpful to advise...
