Over many years we stayed in hotels and apartments where the rooms were very basic. We wanted ours to be different. The Summer House is a two-story, fully equipped townhouse in a quiet residential area 700 metres from the sea, The Summer House has three separate outside areas with seating and views of the quiet street and mountains in the distance. Stratis Village where the Summer House is situated has a mix of many nationalities and the gardens are well maintained. A short stroll through the gardens and lawn lead to a well maintained communal pool which is available for all guests. A short walk of about 12 minutes takes you to first of many beachside restaurants along the coastal path to Latchi Marina. The Summer House was completely refurbished in May 2019 and we recently added a log fire ideal for the cooler winter nights. The kitchen facilities include everything you could possibly need including a toaster, kettle, microwave, food processor, food grill, washing machine and fridge/freezer. The living/dining area includes a large Smart TV, Google Home with a streaming box for many films and UK channels. Fast broadband is also available free of charge. New air conditioning has been fitted in the living room and bedroom making the property cool in the summer and warm in the winter, perfect for holidays at any time of year. We want your holiday to be as relaxing as possible from the moment you arrive. Located on the north-west part of Cyprus only one hour from Paphos International Airport, Polis Region is an area full of natural beauty, surrounded by magnificent mountains and the brightest, warm blue seas and amazing beaches. It is an area that offers peace and calm and has maintained its original Cypriot style. It is the ideal place for those seeking active holidays in nature. The Summer House is ideally located between Polis and Latchi and is in easy walking distance of both. Polis Town Modern Polis is built on the ruins of two ancient cities, Marion and Arsinoe, dating back almost 3000 years. The town of Polis is very different to Paphos, with its beautiful, paved streets and unspoilt character, quaint sandstone buildings around a pedestrianised town centre with its restaurants, bars and souvenir shops, it is a delightful place to hang out on a summer evening. Latchi The small harbour of Latchi is located about three kilometres west from the town of Polis. From the Summer Haven a short 12-minute walk along the main coastal road or via the coastal path on the beach takes you to the first of many restaurants situated on the beach front.
