Family of three and a super friendly Cat named Maya. I (Suelly) am an English tutor and student also; I am home mostly late afternoons. Our daughter is 5 yrs old, super friendly, and always looking to play. Ildo (my partner) is a personal trainer at the sports pavilion. He enjoys anything that involves sports. We both worked in tourism. We are always practicing languages and enjoy learning as we converse with our guests. It's an enormous pleasure for us to host and we will try our very best to help you with planning your stay. We are used to meeting people from all over the world as we both worked in a hostel before, and we love what we do. We do small tours/experiences, rent a city moto scooter, know a car rental, prepare breakfast, Cape Verdean Brunch (all at low cost), teach you how to make cuzcuz. have laundry service, and so on. Chez Nous <3 Our home is a Family Home!!! A perfect Homestay with all the tips to help you plan your stay. It's an extra room for our B&B in Plateau. The apartment has plenty of Natural light and it's airy, if the weather allows. The Decor matches our personalities, it's filled with plants and very cozy. If you're traveling alone, we like making new friends. If traveling with children, let us know to prepare, and our daughter loves a playdate :) It is a typical Cape Verdean home, we live onsite. The house has 1 guest room, your kids can sleep in our daughter's room.

There are many places of interest just footsteps away. Many restaurants and shops nearby, museums, Sucupira market, US Embassy (if you are here for an appointment). The bus stop is a street away, and taxis pass by all the time. Kebra Canela beach is 25 min walking distance. The port is 5 min. drive and the airport 7 min. The Hospital is near and sometimes not so quiet to be honest.
