Cabina Harlequin is a container home located in the jungle in the neighborhood Cocles only 10 minutes from the beach. The home is built bordering Rio Negro and neighbors the owner's home on a 3 hectare farm. There are free-range chickens, ducks, and rabbits. The bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor and the kitchen and sitting area are on the second level where you can enjoy farm fresh eggs and coffee watching the birds. There is 100Mbps fiber optic internet for work-ations.
I love animals and have been working on my farm project for over 7 years now. I try to maintain the farm with as little impact to the surrounding jungle as possible. I designed and built the cabin.
Cocles has a great beach to surf and hang out. There is an 7km of coastline with beautiful beaches to explore. The Jaguar Rescue Center is within 10 minutes. Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo are 15 minutes away. I usually recommend a vehicle or electric bike as the farm is 2km from the main road. 4WD is not needed.
