Company information

We are a Swiss/Canadian family and the fifth generation to live in our family owned 500+ year old house in Bern's Old City. Our Bern rental apartments are located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of our house in Bern. Our holiday apartment in the beautiful Lauterbrunnen Valley is 1.5 hours by train from Bern. We love traveling, the outdoors, the arts and hosting on Booking.com!

Property information

We love our apartment in Lauterbrunnen and are happy to share it with you. You'll appreciate the well equipped kitchen and personal design of the space that'll make you feel cosy, comfortable and at home. Our super comfortable one bedroom, ground floor, apartment has everything you need including high quality bedding and soft towels and a large, covered ground floor terrace with a view of the famous Staubachfalls.

Neighbourhood information

A scenic 10 minute walk to/from the charming Lauterbrunnen village or the bus to/from the complex. From there you can easily reach the car-free villages of Wengen and Mürren, Grindelwald and the rest of the Jungfrau Region, including Jungfraujoch (3454 m.a.s.l). In the winter, downhill and cross country skiing, sledging, snowshoeing, and winter hiking are few of the top attractions. In the spring and summer, easy to difficult hiking, mountain climbing, biking, paragliding are some mountain adventure activities. Fun and relaxation at any time of the year! There are great restaurants, cafes, tourist office, super market, butcher shop, souvenier shops, swimming pool (outdoor) and more offered in the village. SPECIAL NOTE: The main grocery store, Coop, closes at 6:30 p.m. most days and Sundays (except in summer), check their hours beforehand. You can also find grocery items at the local bakery and at Camping Jungfrau. Lauterbrunnen is easily reached by train or car. There's a bus stop across from the station in front of the bakery (#141 direction Stechelberg) which brings you steps away from the apartment (Schützenbach stop).
