Welcome to the Lilypad! This self-contained, separate, cozy 1-bedroom unit is located in central Newmarket on the main level of a quaint 125 year old house. Located on a quiet street, minutes walk from historic Main Street (known for its many varied restaurants, bars, cafés, upscale shops, and spas), Fairy Lake, a farmers market, parks, trails, library, museum, splash pad, pool, tennis courts, hiking trails, and more. Close to the Go Train, Upper Canada Mall, and more. Parking and laundry included! Perfect for single professionals, couples, or a family of 3. Definitely not a basement! The Lilypad is a tranquil space located a five minute walk from bustling Main Street, a quick jaunt from all of Main Street’s amenities, bars, pubs and shops. This space is the perfect balance between small town charm and urban convenience. This self-contained main-level apartment is only a 15 minute walk from the GO Train station (closer than any hotel!), and only a 20 minute walk from Upper Canada Mall and Southlake Hospital. Perfectly positioned for access to the best parts of Newmarket, in what is considered the most beautiful historic community in the area.
We live a few minutes away and are always available via phone, text or email for help with anything you may need such as restaurant recommendations, public transit information, or directions. We’ve included several flyers of excellent services we recommend nearby such as hair salons, massage therapy, spa treatments, bicycle rentals, and unique shops.
You will enjoy the peaceful setting, surrounded by many historic homes and lush gardens. Reminiscent of a typical Toronto neighbourhood, but without the hubbub of the big city, this is a beautiful place for quiet strolls around the pretty streets. A safe and friendly neighbourhood, old Newmarket is widely known for its wonderful community of inclusive and helpful citizens. Pedestrian and bike friendly neighbourhood (bike rentals nearby). Nearby bustling historic Main Street offers a variety of restaurants, bars cafes, salons, spas, and shops. Easy access to multiple bus routes and the Go Train station. Free street parking and nearby free parking lots available for extra guests.
