Rediscover all the classic films thanks to a collection of VHS and DVD and an old-fashioned television. At the basement, we've put a projector with a ChromeCast so you can put anything from your phone. Our 3-bedroom chalet has two queen-size beds, a double bed, and an enclosed area with a single bed in the upstairs bedroom. For babies, we have a folding playpen with a real mattress, a highchair, a changing table and a bath seat. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower. The chalet is secluded, on a large plot of land surrounded by trees, with no direct neighbours, for a peaceful stay in complete privacy. There is a restaurant/convenience store within walking distance, as well as numerous activities within a 20-30 minute radius. Unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi for teleworking. All 3 bedrooms have a desk. For children, there is a small games table in the family room. Access to the swimmable Lac à l'Orignal (opposite the chalet, 30 sec) and a public beach on Lac des Cerfs a 3 min walk away. In summer we provide 2 adult kayaks, an inflatable paddle board and an inflatable boat for children, to be used exclusively on Lac à l'Orignal with life jackets for all ages. In winter, we provide wood for the first nigth. During the summer (as of mid-May), you have access to a BBQ.

Hello, we are Ludivine and Boris, the happy owners of Chalet Le Repère de l'Orignal. We immediately fell in love with the chalet, with its cathedral ceiling, imposing fireplace, large grounds in the heart of nature and private access to Lac à l'Orignal. After several months of renovations, most of which we carried out ourselves, we are happy to share this little cocoon with you for the duration of your stay. We are available and responsive. A haven of peace in Chertsey with access to the lake opposite, located in the Lanaudière region 1h15 from Montreal. You can relax, enjoy the large grounds, and unwind in front of the fireplace indoors or outdoors. Opposite a swimmable lake that is nice to use with kayaks/boats and a 3-minute walk from a municipal beach. Hiking and snowshoeing in the Ouareau forest (15min walk), tobogganing and skating rink 200m from the chalet, ski slopes nearby.
