Budgewoi is very undiscovered and great for people who want the real Australia. It is 90 minutes from Sydney CBD by car. The house is architecturally designed as a holiday house for 2 families (sleeps up to 8). It is purpose built and faces the lake (Lake Munmorah). The house completely turns its back on the road. If you want to swim between the flags (supervised by a life saver and safer for overseas tourists) it is a 10 minute walk from the front door to the beach entrance. However, like all Australian beaches it is not manned all year round. Apart from swimming this is one of the best fishing beaches in NSW.
