Whether you’re travelling to Melbourne for business or leisure, you’ll appreciate the comfortable and well-appointed spaces throughout this unique stay, previously home to the Cherry Ripe! High ceilings and large windows create a sense of spaciousness in the open-plan living and dining area, where an industrial-chic makeover features contemporary artwork and designer furnishings. Unwind on the generously sized sofa while you watch TV, settle in with a good book on the cosy armchair, or head out to your private courtyard to enjoy an afternoon wine. When you're not sampling the many nearby cafes and restaurants, you’ll find all you need in the fully equipped kitchen to prepare food at home, including all the essentials. There’s also a kitchen bar to socialise with other guests while you cook up a feast, plus an eight-seater table to enjoy meals together. Two elegantly appointed bedrooms accommodate five guests, the first with a queen-size bed and the second featuring a single bed underneath a handcrafted double loft bed. Both rooms offer a side table and lamp to enjoy a quiet evening read. The newly renovated bathroom features an overhead shower as well as a bathtub where guests can indulge in a leisurely soak after a day of work or sightseeing. Here you’ll also find a washing machine plus complimentary consumables.

Take a five-minute drive to Edinburgh Gardens, where you can take a time out from the crowds to enjoy one of the larger inner city parks, with 60 acres of green, open space. Try the addictive and refreshing pear and rhubarb gelato at Gelato Messina, one of the best shops in the entire surrounding suburbs. But be ready to brave the queue snaking out the door.
