Want to get away from it all, want somewhere that stands out in the crowd ? Connect with nature listen to the birds sing and watch the millions of stars by night. Come stay at our old Barn house , this huge home was originally an old Log Barn converted to a home many years ago and just recently lovingly renovated with the inclusion of a new pool and fire pit for your enjoyment . Set on a tranquil 30 acres just 40 min drive from Brisbane and only 25 mins to the Sunshine Coast beaches . Due to us being right between two of the most iconic Glasshouse Mountains, we can not guarantee mobile phone service and do not offer WIFI on the property, please note we have a very friendly Farm dog, this is his home and he is allowed to free roam around the property, please take this into account when booking.
As we also live on the same 30 acres we will show you around then let you settle in, you are free to roam the property during daylight hours but request after dark you stay within the 1 acre the house pad sits on for safety reasons of both you and our animals, some of whom are free roaming. We have 3 unfenced Dams on the property but they are not for swimming in, you have a pool to do that in. We are available anytime you need us as long as our lights are on we are awake and you are welcome to come over.
Glasshouse has a quaint little township with a local pub, chemist, doctor, IGA, Bottle shop, bakery and a few take away food options. We are only 15 mins from Beerwah where you will find the world famous Australia Zoo, a bigger selection of shops including Woolworths and many restaurants and cafe’s . And just 25 mins to the beautiful townships of Maleny and Montville . We are the perfect base for short day trips to see the natural beauty that surrounds us on all sides. You will need a car to get to most places , but you are within walking distance of Mt Beerwah and the surrounding hiking tracks.
