Relax, reconnect or celebrate in style at this insta-worthy farmhouse. Plunge into the pool to refresh, stare-gaze from the outdoor bath, dine alfresco on the wrapped verandah or under the arbour, picnic in the the breathtaking gardens, or whip up dinner in the farmhouse kitchen, the BBQ or pizza oven. Here is a retreat where every detail has been carefully considered to enhance comfort and feed the soul.
Having working in the Hunter Valley 12 years ago managing the prestigious Tower Lodge, I gained a deep connection to this magnificent region and its people (and wine), so when the opportunity to purchase Millfield Homestead arose, Vince and I couldn't resist. We have a passion for country homes and nothing gives us more joy than being able to share this special space with others. When it's free we often spend time enjoying the home with our family and friends - it's an ideal place for connecting and unwinding. We're also passionate about the gardens and wildlife and love watching the transformation as the seasons come and go. We hope you enjoy this gorgeous sanctuary as much as we do.
Located between the world-class wineries, restaurants and concert venues of the Hunter Valley and the art-centric community of Wollombi, Millfield is a rural community typified by open fields, blue skies and a rolling mountain backdrop. Located for blissful privacy while being a 10 minutes drive into a major township, from here you can do as much or as little as you please, providing you with the best of both worlds.
