Company information

I am from Sydney and now live in the Gold Coast hinterland. I started my hosting journey with our own apartment in Boat Harbour. I also host luxury properties for other owners. I love travelling, meeting people and staying in Airbnb properties. We have family in Colorado and in Belgium. Always a great excuse to ski, eat chocolate and ice cream and sample local Belgian beers! Hiking, water sports and adventure sports are my preferred types of holiday. And I love great food and finding great cafes and restaurants. As a host, I strive to provide beautiful, well equipped properties by the beach. I want my guests to have a fun, relaxed and memorable stay. Our caretaker, Zac, will meet you on arrival and show you to the property. Zac lives in the estate and will be available during your stay should you need anything.

Neighbourhood information

One Mile Beach is located directly below One Mile Retreat and is just a short walk through a bush track. The beach is patrolled and is a well known local surfing beach. Grab a coffee at the cafe/takeaway before heading to the beach. Boat Harbour is just around the corner, a quiet hidden jewel, known by the locals as a great fishing spot, picnic area and excellent whale watching in season. Just a few kilometres to Anna Bay shops and Birubi Beach and Stockton Sand dunes. Fabulous walking through national park tracks, headlands and bays. Salamander Bay shopping centre is just a 7 minute drive away. Nelson Bay is the main shopping hub and Marina of Port Stephens, just a 10 minute drive. DRIFTWOOD is just 2.5 hours car drive from Sydney CBD and 20 minutes drive from Newcastle (Williamstown) airport. A daily bus service does depart to and from Sydney, however Port Stephens is best accessed by car. Car hire is available from the airport. Local bus services are available throughout the day to all locations in Port Stephens and taxis are also available. However, car is by far the best way to see all the wonderful sights and activities that Port Stephens has to offer.
