Space Currumbin Cottage is open plan, with a light and airy feeling. There is a garden at the front, as well as a large private garden at the back on 2 levels. The cottage is built on the side of a tree-covered hill. It is very close to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, so there are always beautiful birds flying through the garden on their way to and from the sanctuary, as well as other wildlife like water dragons, geckos and bush turkeys. Access Currumbin Cottage is furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture and art works, giving it a comfortable, quirky and relaxed feel. *LOUNGE / DINING / KITCHEN There is a large open plan lounge / dining / kitchen. The lounge area features a comfortable sofa and 2 arm chairs, perfect for lounging around, reading, listening to music, watching DVDs and relaxing. The sofa folds out into a double bed, allowing up to 4 people to stay at any time. The lounge area has windows on 3 sides, with a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the rear garden, and a sliding door opening to a wooden deck that runs the length of the house, with steps down to the garden. The dining area features a large antique pine table with 4 chairs, and a beautiful pine display cabinet. The kitchen is fitted out with all your dining and cooking needs, and includes a microwave, stove, fridge, coffee plunger / cafetiere and so on. *BEDROOM There is only one bedroom, which features a comfortable queen size bed. There is also a dressing table and chair, and a wardrobe. The bedroom also features a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the garden, with a sliding door that leads to the rear deck. *BATHROOM The bathroom is located next to the bedroom. It features a bath with shower, toilet and vanity. *DECK The rear deck runs the length of the house, and is high set so it sits overlooking a beautiful gully.
