1770 Beach Accommodation is a family owned and operated business run by Richard and Jo, who took the plunge and took this business over in December 2023, after falling in love with the area on various holidays to the beautiful Agnes Water & 1770. We specialise in holiday property letting and are a buyer's advocate for Agnes Water & 1770. We hope that our guests fall in love with the area the way we did, and will always want to return.

Property information

Cordelia's Beach Escape is centrally located in a quiet no through-road, but also close enough to walk to the the Agnes Water town centre for shopping & cafes. The main surf beach is 1 kilometre away, and you can walk to the Agnes Water Tavern & bistro. The property has a large deck with ocean glimpses and has recently been refurbished with modern appliances, furnishings and bedding. The house has fans throughout, air conditioning in the queen bedrooms, and includes insect screens for comfort. The secure garage suites 2 cars. There is no Wi-Fi available at this property. Please note that Vodafone does not operate in the area and that phone coverage can be limited/patchy in this area. Given the location of the house and the flora and fauna around the property, it is possible that some wildlife (bugs, insects, birds, frogs) may frequent on the verandah and in garden areas. Please be courteous to the next door neighbours and mindful of the quiet hours set in the listing, thank you.

The Towns of 1770 and Agnes Water are linked by kilometres of pristine beaches bordering the Coral Sea. With access to the Great Barrier Reef at Lady Musgrave Island, Seventeen Seventy and Agnes Water are part of the Discovery Coast which has the most northern surf beaches in Queensland. Combine these features with the laid back village atmosphere that beach lovers seek, the area is an idyllic escape. Surrounded by National Parks and hinterland beauty, the Discovery Coast has been luring newcomers since Captain Cook stepped ashore in 1770. It is impossible to overlook the regions physical beauty and it isn’t just ‘skin deep’. Once you scratch the surface of the Discovery Coast you will uncover your own relaxed sub-tropical paradise.
