The Bohos Villa is a designed especially to make the guest feel comfortable as home. It was recently renovated to include a roof over the patio and a kitchenette, and was separated for privacy from the main villa during the work. The relaxed feeling of Boho Villa is designed to feel low key and funky. It colorful furnishings are cleaned thoroughly every guest and all linen and towels are provided. Seasonal fruit and vegetables are provided every day such as passionfruit, banana, tamarillo, pumpkin, and free range eggs. Drinking water is lovely sand filteredw rain water chilled in fridge. The water is unlimited river water, avoiding any worry about off grid water problems with its large hot water heater. We love animals and pets are welcome as long a they know w not to chase the wildlife or any chickens that are playing Houdini from their coop. The property is 15 acre of ornamental and edible plants. There is a fruit forest in progress and you are welcome to plant a seedling d so you can come back and see its progress!Leads and training call is available for dogs and any dog can be taught not to chasing bite wildlife in 20 to 30 minutes. For the keen you may want to float on an inner tube or a airbed down the river, after these rains it’s great for gold panning too! The room includes fans. TV with several streaming services, a kettle, toaster, microwave, hot plates, smoothie maker, cutleryand crockery. It is preferred that dogs sleep outside on the patio but if there is good reason inside, please arrange it with the host first, bring your do. 10 bucks Extra for dogs inside room for housekeeping to change carpet and deodorize, keeling villa fresh for pets owners and others . 30 Bucks gets couples starlight spa by arrangement.

Within 30 minutes are about 10 waterfalls, several swimming holes, information centres, boardwalks, lookouts, bird viewing hides, etc. the house will be only too happy to point you to a the attractions that tick all your boxes! There are platypus and tree kangaroos on the property, if you are very quiet sitting by the river. We have a lovely neighbor who likes to proudly give our guests a wander through his reverberated block with many edible, native and other trees and plants. He has a great clearing overlooking the river with a very good chance of seeing a platypus, and at some times of year, at night spotlighting. Malanda has a library, post office, the largest wooden pub in Australia and Southern hemisphere, it is a men’s shed, historical society, a heritage wooden cinema and playhouse, a huge hippy shop, a couple a churches, primary and high school and recently renovated park with pump track and rock climbing course.
