The house was built about 30 years ago, using large rounded rocks. The tower (7.5 meters/24.6 feet tall, holds a water tank) was built likewise. Due to it's rock facade and the tower, it is a unique house, few of these exist, as nowadays it would be too expensive to build. As one guest commented: "It has soul." I created a fine art photography gallery in the veranda, as well as a photographic studio. The furniture is original, designed for comfort and practicality. As the house is made of large rocks and the owner is called Peter, which means rock, the house is named Casa de Peter.
Located 2 blocks from the main square of Cafayate. The neighborhood is predominantly residential. A close walk away are restaurants, wine and liquor stores, convenience stores, restaurants and diners, bars, pharmacy, ice cream parlors, bakery.
