The Marina stretches more than 3 km long and is encircled by a palm-lined and landscaped promenade, a favourite among strollers, walkers, joggers and cyclists. The Marina has its own mall with over 130 shops, a supermarket and a six-screen cinema. JBR is a beachfront promenade set around 1 mile of skyscrapers designed with an Arabian touch.
